Brimketill is a unique natural pool right by the ocean on the southwestern tip of Reykjanes. My favourite time of day is low to mid tide so you can see the formation clearly. It can also be a lot of fun being there during or after a big storm as the waves come crashing into the cliffs.

QUICK NOTES:

  • What it is: A natural pool right by the ocean.

  • Best season: Any.

  • Best time of day: Low to mid tide (when it's high tide it can be hard to actually see it).

  • Nice to know: During ur just after big storms, the waves come crashing into the cliffs - make sure you bring your waterproofs if your into that! Swimming is forbidden.
