The swimming pool at Laugarvatn is located close to a campsite and includes a 25 meter long pool along with 3 hot tubs, a sauna and a cold tub.

Swimming pools are an integral part of Icelandic culture and has been ever since people started gathering in natural hot springs in the past. It's where people meet an talk about everything from the weather to politics. Entering one of those pools is really the easiest way to immerse yourself in the local culture.

PS. They're almost all geothermally heated!
