Gantheaume Point in Broome is like landing on Mars, it's wild! Picture red cliffs meeting turquoise waters, creating some seriously epic photo ops. Just a quick 10-minute drive from town, it's a hotspot for both locals and visitors alike.

Now, depending on the tide, there's a bunch to enjoy here. At high tide, you've got these two perfect circular rock pools that fill up beautifully. To find them, you'll need to veer off the path and follow a less obvious trail, You'll be able to find them easily just keep an eye out. 

When I visited during high tide, I chilled in these rock pools until they dried up, then strolled down to the end of the trail where everyone gathers to leap off the cliffs and swim. The water's so enticing with its vibrant turquoise colour, but a word of caution, it can get dicey with fast-changing tides. I saw a lady struggling in the current one day, getting knocked around by the waves near the rocks. Personally, I always feel safer swimming with crowds and locals who know the ins and outs of the area.

But wait, there's more! This spot has dinosaur footprints. Yeah, you heard me right, dinosaur footprints! If you are exploring at low tide, keep your eyes peeled for these tracks in the coral rocks as you explore.

And let's not forget the sunsets at Gantheaume Point. When the sun dips down over the water, the rocks light up in this vibrant red glow, it's truly magical. It's the perfect spot to kick back, soak in the laid-back coastal vibes, and watch nature put on a show.
