Praia de Santa Marta ("Saint Marta beach") is in a hidden treasure between Boca do Inferno, Cascais Marina, the Santa Marta Lighthouse and the Palace of the Museum Condes de Castro Guimarães.
Depending on the tide, this beach can be more or less accessible, but nothing compares to the picturesque scenery created from the juxtaposition between the green water of the sea, the bridge and all this architectural heritage around it. Praia de Santa Marta is just 40 minutes away from Lisbon!
The small beach emerges from where Ribeira dos Mochos meets the Atlantic Ocean and seems to have come out of a fairy tale! Please note that the municipality of Cascais doesn't even consider Praia de Santa Marta an actual beach due to the ever changing natural conditions that might enable (or not) its existence.
Don't forget to check Museum Condes de Castro Guimarães and the Cascais Marina, both located a few footsteps away from Praia de Santa Marta.
