Located in kanton Schwyz, Druesberg is a mountain that towers above much of what surrounds it. Rising up to 2,282 meters and featuring breathtaking views, this peak provides a perfect setting for hikers and nature lovers alike.
I think this peak is really only hiked by locals so far. Certainly I haven't heard about this place on social media yet.
HIKE DETAILS:
Start at Weglosen parking lot. The hike is long and steep, it is a white blue trail. The first part is going thru a forest area and there is a steep wall where you have to climb up on ladders.
Continue towards Druesberghütte where you can stop for a small break. From there continue your hike towards Druesberg. The last part is very steep and have some chains to help you go up the peak. Once you are at the peak, don't forget to write to the visitor book that is located inside a box, on the cross.
The hike is long, 15,8 km out and back, with 1220 meters of elevation gain. It can take 7-8 hours depends on your pace. It is truly one of those insane hikes where you get the best views on the top.
