This is probably one of the least visited waterfalls in Iceland - for a reason. It's not because it doesn't look good, it does - and it's actually one of few waterfalls in Iceland that runs essentially straight into the ocean. The thing is, it's only there when it has been raining a lot. If it has been dry, there's literally not a drop in there. So if you are getting a lot of rain while in Iceland, you might want to pay this one a visit. The walk there is pretty straight forward and only takes about 30 minutes.

QUICK NOTES:

  • What it is: A seasonal waterfall in Reykjanes.

  • Best season: Summer/fall.

  • Best time of day: Any.

  • Nice to know: Look out for rainy days before visiting this one.
