Iconic lookout of the Alpine region

For the best views of Mount Buffalo National Park and the Alpine region, you absolutely have to visit this lookout and skywalk. I was completely blown away when I went, the mountain ranges are stunning! Standing there, looking out over the vast landscape, felt like being on top of the world. The panorama from the lookout is seriously worth the trip.

Then there’s the Glass Sky Walk, which takes the experience to a whole new level. It’s not your average lookout; it’s an exhilarating walk out over the edge with a glass floor that lets you see straight down. It’s such a rush to stand there and look out, feeling like you’re floating in mid-air. And if you’re worried about heights, don’t be, the glass sky walk is super safe and well-maintained. Just make sure to bring your camera because you’ll want to capture both the incredible views and the unique thrill of walking on glass high above the ground.

I kind of wish I had gone for sunrise or sunset (I’m not a fan of driving at night because of wildlife). The morning or evening colors would add a magical touch to the views, and you’d avoid the crowds, making the experience even more special. After your adventure, there’s also a cozy café nearby where you can grab a bite and soak in the scenery a bit more. Trust me, the combination of the lookout and the glass skywalk makes for an unforgettable outing.
