I love Aussie wildlife so when there is a sanctuary in the area you best believe I'll be visiting to boost my serotonin. Phillip Island Wildlife Park is a fantastic spot if you're looking to get up close with Aussie wildlife in a chill, natural setting. This park is like a mini zoo where you can hang out with kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, and a bunch of other native critters. The park is super easy to explore with a walk-through layout, so you can wander at your own pace and interact with the animals.
It costs $23 for an adult ticket where you grab a bag of food to hand-feed the kangaroos and wallabies, they’re friendly and love a snack. The park has a relaxed vibe, making it a great spot for families or anyone who loves wildlife. There are also educational talks and displays that give you some cool facts about the animals. It’s a laid-back way to spend a few hours and really connect with Australia’s unique wildlife. Plus, it’s not too far from the main attractions on the island, so it’s an easy add-on to your trip.
