A visit to Maingon Blowhole on the Tasman Peninsula is a beautiful experience for nature lovers. To get there, simply follow the 1.5-kilometer path along the Mount Brown Track. It’s a great idea to combine your visit to the blowhole with a stop at Remarkable Cave and a hike up Mount Brown, as these attractions are all conveniently close to each other. The trail offers spectacular views of the rugged coastline and the powerful Southern Ocean.
The blowhole itself is a natural wonder, where waves forcefully shoot through a narrow opening in the rocks, creating impressive water spouts. The best time to visit is during high tide or rough seas, when the blowhole is at its most dramatic. As the ocean's force blasts through, the resulting spray and roar make for an exhilarating display. Be prepared to get a bit wet from the sea spray, but it’s all part of the fun. Its the biggest blowhole ive ever seen, so stop in and soak all its beauty in.
