Second Valley Beach is a pretty popular spot in South Australia and should definitely be on your list. The views of the vibrant, crystal-clear water here are insane, I swear, photos don’t do its beauty justice. This spot is well-loved for its breathtaking coastal views and unique rock formations that make for some seriously scenic photos.
The beach is divided into two sections: one side features sandy shores perfect for a refreshing dip, while the other side boasts rocky reefs that are a snorkeler's paradise. This place is very popular for snorkeling, with the highlight being the chance to spot seahorses. There are signs and info on the jetty showing what the seahorses look like, so if you’re diving in for a snorkel, make sure to be vigilant as they really blend in with the seaweed. The vibrant marine life here is pretty sick and will definitely keep you fascinated. It’s a perfect spot to unwind, soak up the stunning beauty of the Fleurieu Peninsula, and enjoy a bit of local flavor.
