Waterfall
I don’t know why that song says “Don’t go chasing waterfalls,” because honestly, I can’t think of anything better! Henderson Falls in Great Otway National Park, Lorne, Victoria, is a prime spot for anyone who shares that passion for waterfalls. You’ll kick off your adventure at the Sheoak Falls Picnic Area, and from there, the trail to Henderson Falls is a delightful 3.4-kilometer return walk.
This trail takes you through a lush, fern-filled rainforest, complete with wooden bridges and the occasional muddy patch, adding to the sense of adventure. When you finally reach the base of the falls, you’ll be rewarded with the cool spray of the water and an up-close view of the cascade. It’s a bit more serene compared to some of the bigger falls in the area, so you can really savor the natural beauty without the crowds. And don’t forget your camera, this spot is perfect for capturing stunning photos!
