Purlingbrook Falls in Springbrook National Park is a great spot for a nature fix. The Purlingbrook Falls Circuit is a 4-kilometer loop trail that’s perfect for a half-day adventure. As you hike, you’ll be treated to some seriously breathtaking views of one of the park's tallest waterfalls, plummeting 109 meters into a lush, green gorge. The trail takes you through a mix of dense rainforest and open eucalypt forest, offering up-close views of the falls from various lookout points.

One of the highlights is the descent to the base of the falls, where you can feel the cool mist and take in the sheer scale of the drop. Keep an eye out for the stunning rock formations and vibrant flora along the way. The trail can get a bit steep and slippery, especially after rain, so sturdy footwear is a must. It’s a popular spot, so visiting early or later in the day can help you avoid the crowds
