The Cactus Garden in Carnarvon, Western Australia is a quirky and charming oasis filled with over 350 cacti and even a whale skeleton.

This spot is a perfect stop along the drive from Exmouth to Shark Bay. It was started by its owner Rob Werstcott as a hobby and with time has grown into a prickly paradise that is now a must-visit spot for road-tripping travellers along the Coral Coast Highway.

With towering cacti, a friendly atmosphere, and a shop where you can take home your own cactus, it's a unique stop that's sure to leave you with some Insta-worthy pics and a newfound appreciation for these spiky plants.

Don’t forget some cash for a donation which goes towards the owner maintaining this destination.
