Fern Pool in Karijini National Park is like finding a hidden gem in North WA. Nestled in the serene Dales Gorge, this place is pure magic, a cool oasis surrounded by lush green ferns and the soothing sounds of a waterfall. It's the ultimate spot to chill out and immerse yourself in nature's beauty.
Imagine lounging by the water's edge, letting all your worries melt away as you dip your toes into its clear, refreshing depths. Whether you're a nature lover or a selfie aficionado, every moment here feels like a serene escape that begs to be captured.
Getting to Fern Pool is part of the adventure itself. You can choose to stroll down the stairs from the carpark to Fortescue Falls and then follow the stream for about 300 meters to reach the pool. For those up for a longer trek and more scenic views, the Dales Gorge Loop (4.3km) is a fantastic option. This trail winds through the gorge, offering glimpses of stunning landscapes along the way.
Once you arrive, take your time to explore, swim, or simply soak in the tranquility of this natural paradise. Just a heads-up, the water at Karijini can be chilly, so brace yourself for a refreshing dip that'll invigorate your senses.
