I have to say, this spot is absolutely incredible! It’s a hidden gem on the South Coast near Tathra, and it’s surprisingly easy to get to. The walk is short and well-marked, just follow the path for about 300 meters from the Turingal Head picnic area. You’ll then come across a staircase that leads you right down to the water’s edge. I visited during high tide, and the water covered most of the sand and rocks, creating this stunningly clear, green-tinted lagoon. If you can, definitely go at high tide; it’s perfect for swimming in a calm, shallow section nestled between the rocks. Even if you visit at low tide, you can still enjoy a swim, just be prepared to go a bit further out. One thing to keep in mind is that there’s no lifeguard on duty, so make sure to keep an eye on the currents. Despite that, the seclusion and serenity of this beach make it worth the visit. And if you have time, there are plenty of trails in the area that are definitely worth exploring too!
