A Brasileira is a traditional café, founded in 1905, located right at the heart of Lisbon, in Baixa-Chiado, a place surrounded by beautiful squares and historic streets.

Its name derives from the origins of the coffee they served throughout decades, and still do, mainly imported from Brazil.

Don't miss the statue of renowned Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa, situated right in front of A Brasileira. Alongside with several other writers, journalists, politicians and artists from the early 20th century, he was a regular customer of A Brasileira.
