Praia da Falésia ("Falésia beach"), in Albufeira, Algarve, Portugal, is a very wide beach (6 km of continuous sand strip), characterized by amazing red-, orange- and white-colored cliffs which serve as a giant wall, providing an unique atmosphere.

The wind and the rain constantly generate erosion in this geological formation, which then supplies the beach with renewed sand. Throughout the years, this natural process also reshapes the cliffs, which look like mutant sculptures from time to time.

For safety reasons, it is advisable to stay away from the cliffs while at the beach.
