Waterfall
This hidden gem is an incredible natural rockslide. The smooth rock face is at the perfect angle to slide down into the deep pool below. It is popular to slide down on a boogie board, inflated tube or even an air mattress! I have witnessed a few people slide down on their bare bellies, but I imagine they would have been very bruised afterwards.
The Rere Rockslide can provide hours of fun for adrenaline lovers. The best flow to slide down is towards the left side of the rock face. There is also a convenient natural walkway towards the right to come back to the top.
Remember: Do not attempt to swim after heavy rainfall or if the river is in flood, deep or fast-moving. Do not leave any rubbish in the area, take your boogie boards, inner tubes or other floatation devices with you!
Personal tip: For a speedy and daring descent, go headfirst on a boogie board! If you prefer a slow slide down the rock face, opt for an air mattress or inner tube.
Pronunciation: Rere: reh-reh
