Sigeric traveled the Via Francigena from Canturbury, where he was a Archbishop, to Rome receive his pallium in 990. A member of his party recorded the journey, so we still have the route and conditions of the time.

So Sigeric became the name of a sustainable tourism group dedicated to showing you the Lunigiana close up.
