Don't let the name fool you, Devils Marbles are anything but scary. They're a pretty cool landmark, offering the perfect pit stop on a long desert road trip. Stretch your legs and soak in Australia's raw beauty at its finest.

When it comes to admiring the formations, there's not much to say except to soak it all in. While there aren't any designated walks around them, you'll find a network of self-guided routes on the eastern side of the reserve. Along these paths, you'll encounter signs that provide insight into the geological wonders of the area, how they formed, and how they've endured the elements over time. It's an opportunity to learn about the incredible natural processes that have shaped the landscape.

If you arrive late at the marbles or wish to stay to admire an Outback sunset and starry night, don't worry! You can camp at the Devil’s Marbles Conservation Reserve. Booking in advance is necessary since there's no reception, but it's only $10 (find it on wiki camps).
